Difference between evidence and explanation in Korean
증거·해석

증거evidence
Evidence (증거) is proof that helps people believe or check that something is true. You can use this word for school, rules, accidents, or arguments. For example, a photo, a note, or a receipt can be evidence.

해석explanation
This word means the explanation or meaning of something, such as a sentence, poem, picture, or math problem. In school, you hear it when a teacher explains a text or when students talk about what something means. It can also mean one person's understanding, so two people may not agree.
The difference
해석 is how someone understands or reads something. Different people can have different interpretations, but proof is used to show something is true.
