How to say hospital stay in Korean

Meaning

입원 means staying in a hospital because you are sick or hurt. You use it when someone needs care in the hospital for one or more days, not just a short visit. For example, you can say someone was admitted to the hospital or is in the hospital now (입원).

1. 어머니가 어제 병원에 입원했어요.

   My mother was admitted to the hospital yesterday.
