When to use to call in Korean

When to use it

부르다 means "to call." You use it when you say someone’s name or use your voice to get their attention and ask them to come. It is also used when you call for something, like a taxi.

1. 엄마가 저를 불러요.

   Mom calls me.

2. 선생님이 민수를 불렀어요.

   The teacher called Minsu.

3. 밖에서 친구를 불렀어요.

   I called my friend outside.

4. 제 이름을 크게 불러 주세요.

   Please call my name loudly.
