When to use claim in Korean

When to use it

"Claim" means saying that something is true, right, or real. The Korean word 주장 can also mean a strong opinion that someone says firmly. You often use it when people disagree and one person says, "This is true" or "I am right."

   My younger sibling claimed that toy was his/hers.

2. 학교에서 민수는 자기 답이 맞다고 주장했어요.

   At school, Minsu claimed his answer was right.

   At the park, my friend claimed this path was shorter.

4. 그는 어제 저를 만났다고 주장했어요.

   He claimed that he met me yesterday.

   At the store, the customer claimed the bill was wrong.
