When to use it
Duty (의무) means something you must do because it is your job, role, or a rule. It is used for responsibilities at home, school, work, or in society. You will often see it in sentences about having a duty or doing the right thing.

집에서는 설거지가 제 의무예요.
At home, washing the dishes is my duty.
학생은 숙제를 할 의무가 있어요.
Students have a duty to do homework.
우리는 길에서 신호를 지킬 의무가 있어요.
