When to use it
Greeting (인사) is what you say or do when you meet someone or when you leave. In Korean, people often use this word with 하다: 인사하다 means “to greet” or “to say hello.” You can use it at home, at school, in shops, and in many polite everyday situations.

I greet my mom in the morning.
